Target Minerals: Copper & Gold

Ownership
The project straddles three concessions and concession applications all 100% owned by GoldQuest.

Location & Access
The Las Comios project is located in a remote area in the far western Dominican Republic close to the Haitian border.

Geology and Sampling
The project is located in Cretaceous Tireo Formation volcanic rocks host to several other GoldQuest projects including the nearby Las Tres Palmas and Loma Viejo Pedro projects.

To date 330 rock and float samples have been taken from the project with 118 returning values > 0.1% Copper including 59 >1 % Copper and 6 >10% Copper with a maximum value of 34.6%. Rock float samples have also returned values up to 17 g/t Gold and 1.3 % Zn.

The strongest mineralized samples originate from either side of a large topographic high which is coincidental with a very strong positive airborne magnetic anomaly with approximate dimensions of 3.2 x 3.8 kilometres. The magnetic anomaly was defined by Fugro Geophysical Surveys in 1996 as on behalf of the Dominican Government.

Alteration indicative of porphyry style mineralization has been identified in the area comprising of extensive phyllic alteration with copper and gold bearing quartz veins and gossanous float.
