Luis Santana

Chief Executive Officer

Luis is a Qualified Engineer from the Santo Domingo Technological Institute with more than 25 years of experience in mining and mineral processing. He has worked in senior management and executive positions globally, including with Glencore, BHP Billiton, Barrick, and Shandong Gold.

Dennis Kwong

Chief Financial Officer

Dennis Kwong brings over 20 years of mining industry experience to GoldQuest. He previously served as CFO for Florida Canyon Gold and held leadership roles at Centerra Gold. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, CFA charterholder, and holds an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Leandro Sastre

Vice President Exploration

Leandro is a seasoned geologist with 23 years of experience in the international mining sector. Previously VP Exploration for Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region at Barrick Gold Corporation, overseeing exploration activities across multiple continents.

Felix Mercedes

General Manager (Dominican Republic)

Felix is a Dominican geologist with more than 20 years of experience in the Dominican Republic mining and exploration sector. He holds a Degree in Geology and a Masters in Business Administration and is a director of the Mining and Petroleum Chamber of the DR.

Board of Directors

The Board oversees the overall direction of the Company and governs its activities through a series of committees. It comprises a majority of independent, non-executive directors — with members from Canada, the Dominican Republic and Switzerland — bringing a blend of financial and technical expertise.

Frank Balint

Chairman

Frank Balint is a seasoned mining executive with over 45 years of broad-ranging experience across exploration, discovery, reserves, feasibility, financing, acquisition, development and closure. As a senior member of the executive team at Inmet for nearly 20 years, he helped grow the company from a market cap under $200 million to over $5 billion when it was acquired by First Quantum Minerals in 2013. He was also a director of Wolfden Resources (sold to Zinifex in 2007 for $363 million) and is a licensed professional geologist (P.Geo) in Ontario.

Martin Wafforn

Director

Martin Wafforn is a professional mining engineer with more than 40 years of technical, operational and project development experience in the mining industry. Over more than 20 years at Pan American Silver, he held progressively senior roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Technical Services & Process Optimization. He previously held senior mine engineering and operational roles with Barrick Gold and Homestake Mining. He currently serves on the board of New Pacific Metals and as a Senior Technical Advisor to Pan American Silver, and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia.

Coille Van Alphen

Director

Ms. Van Alphen is a Metals & Mining Portfolio Manager at Equinox Partners, a US-based global value investment firm, where she manages a concentrated portfolio of precious metals miners and oversees base metals investments. She was previously a Senior Analyst on a precious metals fund at Tocqueville Asset Management (now Sprott Funds) and worked at CPP Investment Board in global capital markets. She holds an MBA with distinction from the Ivey School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

Jose Michelen

Director

Mr. Michelen has deep corporate and investment experience in the Dominican Republic and South America. Active in financial markets since 1996, he co-founded a financial transactional platform in the DR in 2002 and since 2004 has managed investments across multiple industries in the DR and Central America. He is a founding partner and board member of several Dominican financial institutions and has served on the board of the Dominican Republic Stock Exchange. He holds an MBA from MIT and a B.S. from New York University.

Patrick Michaels

Director

Patrick Michaels is Executive Chairman of Zuri-Invest AG and Chairman of Asty Capital AG in Zurich, Switzerland. He has been involved in numerous gold-mine financings in North America and is a respected financial adviser and fund manager throughout Europe, with extensive experience in mining finance, fund management and asset allocation. He trained in private banking and investment research at UBS in Zurich, attended post-graduate courses at the Colorado School of Mines, and currently sits on the board of Highway Holdings (previously Romarco Minerals and Steppe Gold).

Charles Reid

Director

Charles Reid has extensive experience in asset recovery, distressed assets and project development in the Dominican Republic, structuring strategies to monetize non-performing receivables and revitalize underutilized properties, alongside corporate restructuring, feasibility studies and large-scale distribution projects. He holds a Bachelor's in Management from Bentley University and a Master's in Administrative Studies from Boston University, and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Florian Siegfried

Director

Florian Siegfried is CEO and Managing Partner of SSI Asset Management Ltd. (Liechtenstein). He previously served as CEO of Precious Capital AG, a Zurich-based fund manager specializing in global mining investments, and as CEO of Shape Capital Ltd., a SIX Swiss Exchange-listed private equity company. He is also an independent director of PPX Mining Corp. He holds a master's in finance and economics from the University of Zurich and a post-graduate degree in accounting from the University of Lucerne.
