Project Description

About Romero

The Romero gold-copper deposit was discovered by GoldQuest in 2011 and represents one of the most significant mineral discoveries in the Dominican Republic in recent decades. The project is located within the Tireo Formation, a volcanic arc sequence that extends across central Hispaniola.

With over 118,000 meters of drilling completed, Romero hosts an Indicated Resource of 2.27 million ounces of gold equivalent (Indicated), with an additional 0.24 million ounces of gold equivalent in the Inferred category. The deposit is characterized by its amenability to conventional processing methods, with excellent metallurgical recoveries demonstrated through extensive test work.

A Preliminary Feasibility Study has confirmed robust project economics, positioning Romero as a compelling development opportunity with established infrastructure and an experienced local workforce.
